The footpath of oil in the ancient lands of the Popes
A great project for the promotion of olive oil that involves nine municipalities between the provinces of Frosinone and Latina that will culminate with a major event in Boville Ernica on spring of 2022. It is called "The footpath of oil in ancient lands of the Popes”. Moreover, it is the only one of its kind to be awarded a loan of 40,000 euros by the Latium Region. Martina Bocconi is taking care of it. Martina is the councillor of the municipal, delegated to Tourism and the care of historic centre.
“This is a great opportunity for our territory - explain the mayor Enzo Perciballi and the Bocconi councilor - Once again, thanks to this initiative, Boville is at the center of a project that aims to promote olive oil,and the territory with it's historic center, it's art and it's food and wine traditions”.
A project that was created to promote the cultural, gastronomic and historical excellences of the territory with particular attention to the Municipalities of Boville Ernica, Amaseno, Giuliano di Roma, Anagni, Prossedi, Priverno, Sonnino, Cori and Maenza, actors of the great olive reform carried out by the Papal State, which thus become part of a new "economic and historical renaissance" promoted by the initiative "The journey of oil in the ancient land of the popes".
